  • This is an exciting opportunity for a project based Salesperson to develop the Company’s direct sales.

Based in Slough, your objective in this vital role is to develop sustainable sales and marketing strategy, meeting target revenue, implementing workflow, developing back up supplier relationship and managing the operation cycle.

Requirement:

Training Production Manager

GIGAPRINT is a leading international large format digital printer with 4 factories in Australia, Hong Kong and Singapore and a team of 180 staff worldwide.

Now the Company is seeking to move into the UK market and have established our newest site in Slough and requires an experienced

Production Manager to play a key role in this exciting phase of growth. Reporting to the MD the successful applicant is likely to have in-depth experience in all aspects of the large format digital printing industry, with good communication and people skills.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Managing all aspects of the printing, finishing and dispatching process
  • Learning production knowledge from Head Office and past on these knowledge to future production staff
  • Product development under guidelines from Head Office
  • Management and development of all production personnel.
Required skills/ experience
  • Minimum 1 year knowledge with large format digital printers
  • Operating knowledge with Mutoh 1604 and HP Scitex XL1500 preferred
  • Passionate on mechanics and “hands on” production work
  • This is not a sit back position but a real “hands on” job

    Shades signs & blinds is located in South East of London, We are looking for an individual, to start immediately, who has at least two years experience in the design field with experience of using a Vinyl Cutter and Large Format Printers.

    We would also expect the candidate to have good spoken English, and have the ability to work independently or as part of a team. He/she should have good office skills, with the ability to deal with enquiries and internal sales.

    The candidate should have the ability to follow several tasks through to completion in parallel, with excellent attention to detail.

    Experience in design software (such as Coral, Adobe CS3 and photo shop) and have used Vinyl Cutters and Large Format printers is essential. No time wasters please.

    The salary is negotiable, subject to experience and performance. You must also be eligible to work in the UK.

    • A proven track record of achieving and surpassing sales targets.
    • A signage industry background of selling into the public and private sector.
    • Able to absorb technical information and communicate customer requirements.
    • Ability to track and manage projects/opportunities with key decision makers.
    • Must have the ability to build strong working relationships with clients over a protracted order cycle.
    • Design experience would be preferred.
